Toodyay Bush Poetry Festival

The WA Bush Poets & Yarnspinners in conjunction with Toodyay Festivals Inc will be holding their 2014 State Championships at Toodyay on 24th, 25th & 26th October 2014. The Toodyay Memorial Hall with it’s history and architecture is a very appropriate venue for this weekend. A Bush Dance on the Saturday night and a Bush Poet’s Breakfast on the Sunday morning add to a varied and interesting program which features the best Bush Poets in WA. WABP&YS Monthly Muster

The Perth monthly muster of the W A Bush Poets & Yarnspinners is held in auditorium at Bentley Park Retirement Village, Plantation Drive, Bentley Park on the first Friday of the month at 7pm. Visitors are welcome, and new poets are welcome to perform their own poetry or that of other poets, contemporary or traditional. Our aim is to present a varied program that covers a wide range of themes and that will appeal to everyone.
